Product Introduction

Steel edge rubber water stop (also known as: steel edge water stop) is a rubber water stop with a non-uniform thickness structure. The steel edge water stop is divided into a strong area and a waterproof area. Additional installation holes are added to the steel plate of the water stop and connected to the rebar, which makes it difficult to displace after being fixed, ensuring that the stress on each part is uniform and reasonable. It has characteristics such as high strength, good elasticity, easy fixation (can be welded to the rebar for fixation), and strong bonding with concrete. However, it has a small elongation rate and poor resistance to bending deformation, making it unsuitable for areas with frequent changes in joint width.

Construction Precautions

After the steel edge water stop is transported to the construction site, it should not be exposed to the sun for a long time to prevent rain exposure. It should not come into contact with strongly polluting chemical substances to avoid rubber aging.

During transportation and construction, prevent damage to machinery and rebar.

During the installation process of the rubber water stop, the water stop must be securely fixed to avoid displacement during concrete pouring, ensuring the correct position of the water stop in the concrete.

Methods for fixing the water stop include: using additional rebar for fixation, special clamps for fixation, and lead wire and formwork fixation. If perforation is required, it can only be selected in the installation area at the edge of the water stop, and other areas must not be damaged.
