The buried rubber water stop, also known as a centrally placed rubber water stop or an internally buried rubber water stop, is a type of water stop set within the concrete deformation joints, expansion joints, etc. It has the ability to adapt to the expansion and deformation of concrete based on the elasticity and structural form of the water stop material. It can be divided into two types based on structural form: CB type water stop and CP type water stop.
　　
　　  Design and selection standards: In the process of engineering design and construction selection, the width and thickness of the CB type water stop should be determined according to the following conditions:
　　
　　  1. When the water pressure is less than 4m and the horizontal and vertical deformation does not exceed 10mm, the width of the water stop should not be less than 200mm, and the thickness should not be less than 5mm;
　　
　　  2. When the water pressure is 4-8m and the horizontal and vertical deformation does not exceed 30mm, the width of the CB type water stop should not be less than 300mm, and the thickness should not be less than 6mm;
　　
　　  3. When the water pressure is greater than 8m and the horizontal and vertical deformation exceeds 30mm, the width of the CB type water stop should not be less than 350mm, and the thickness should not be less than 8mm;
　　
　　  4. When the water pressure does not exceed 8m and the horizontal deformation does not exceed 20mm, with no vertical deformation, the width of the CB type water stop should not be less than 200mm, and the thickness should not be less than 5mm. In addition, when the structural cross-section size is greater than 500mm, the width of the CB type water stop should not be less than 300mm, and when the CB type water stop is bent, its turning radius should not be less than 300mm.

　　  When transporting and storing the product, avoid direct sunlight and do not contact with heat sources, oils, and harmful solvents. Do not come into contact with substances that affect the quality of rubber. Finished products should be laid flat without heavy pressure. The storage location should ideally maintain a temperature of -10℃ to +30℃, with a relative humidity of 40% to 80%, and should be kept clean.
　　
　　  Application range: The rubber water stop is a product made from domestic natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers as the main raw materials, mixed with various accelerators and fillers, and produced through plasticizing, mixing, vulcanization, and molding. It utilizes the high elasticity of rubber to produce elastic deformation under various pressure loads, thereby achieving a strong seal, effectively preventing water leakage and seepage in building structures, and providing shock absorption and cushioning.
