Regarding the installation of water-swelling water stop strips, it should be:
1. 2. Embed the water stop strip into the reserved groove. If there is no reserved groove, the vertical seams can be fully adhered with adhesive, or the water stop strip can be fixed with cement nails and wooden strips. Horizontal seams can be directly adhered to the concrete surface. After the water stop is applied, concrete should be poured as soon as possible. During the installation and adhesion process, care should be taken to prevent the water stop strip from being contaminated by water swelling, so as not to affect the effectiveness of use.
3. The product is pre-set at the interface of concrete construction joints and post-pouring strips. After the secondary pouring of concrete (i.e., in a state wrapped by concrete), when encountering water swelling, it can completely block the source of leakage. It has a high expansion rate and strong fluidity compensation. 4. For completed projects, if there are leaks in the seams, the water stop strip can be used to seal again. The waterproof and impermeable effect is superior to traditional steel plates and rubber-plastic water stop strips, and the construction method is simple and easy, saving labor and time.
